Have you ever wondered where Paoletti electric guitars come from?

These unique and high-quality instruments have gained popularity among musicians around the world. In this blog post, we will explore the origins of Paoletti electric guitars and the story behind their creation.

Like many of the best creations, Paoletti Guitars grew out of a strong understanding of the past and an artist’s active imagination for the future. Based in Tuscany, Italy, where from the end of the 19th century the Paoletti family once produced Chianti red wine, much of that thirst has been past down to Fabrizio Paoletti.

In the spirit of paying reverence to the past and at the same time making the best use of the materials at hand, Paoletti began to make use of the ancient wine barrels left from the old family business. With many of these being made of 130-170 year old chestnut wood, it was soon realised that this gave the instruments a unique and impressive sound.

The Birth of Paoletti Guitars

Paoletti electric guitars originated in Italy, where the Paoletti family has been crafting musical instruments for over three generations. It all started with Fabrizio Paoletti, a passionate luthier who had a vision to create guitars that combined vintage aesthetics with modern playability.

The Paoletti Workshop

Located in the picturesque town of Fabriano, Italy, the Paoletti workshop is where these exceptional guitars come to life. The workshop is a place where traditional craftsmanship meets innovation, and every instrument is meticulously handcrafted with attention to detail.

The Paoletti Sound

One of the reasons why Paoletti electric guitars have gained such a devoted following is their unique sound. The Paoletti family has developed their own aging process for the wood used in their guitars, which involves burying the wood in the family vineyard for several months. This process gives the guitars a distinct resonance and tonal character.

Collaborations with Artists

Paoletti guitars have caught the attention of many renowned musicians, leading to exciting collaborations. Artists such as Slash, Joe Bonamassa, and Billy Gibbons have all embraced the distinctive sound and craftsmanship of Paoletti guitars, further solidifying their reputation in the music industry.
